About Focus Hardwood
At Focus Hardwood, we believe the floor should never be an afterthought — it’s often the foundation and focal point of a space.
Over the years, that philosophy has grown into a small, dedicated team committed to quality, reliability, and lasting craftsmanship.
Where Focus Hardwood Begins
Every project starts with people who care deeply about how a space feels underfoot.
Meet Jesse
A Colorado native, Jesse founded Focus Hardwood over a decade ago and brings more than 20 years of hardwood flooring experience. He believes the process matters as much as the finished floor, leading each project with integrity, attention to detail, and craftsmanship built to last.
Outside work, Jesse enjoys trail running, telemark skiing, and camping with Clara and their two daughters. He’s also completed the Moab 240—bringing the same endurance and dedication to the trails as he does to his work.
Meet Clara
Clara is the organizer and steady heartbeat behind Focus Hardwood, keeping projects moving through thoughtful scheduling and clear communication. With a background in personal assistance and home organization, she brings structure, simplicity, and care to the customer experience.
She loves natural materials, welcoming spaces, and the way hardwood floors set the foundation for beautiful design.
How We Work
Focus Hardwood is more than a family business — we’re a small, dedicated crew that takes pride in craftsmanship and reliability. Each member of our team is trained to work to NWFA standards, ensuring consistent, high-quality results on every project.
